About Sarthak Educational Trust
Sarthak Educational Trust is a Non Government Organization working towards the empowerment of people with disabilities. It was founded by Dr. Jitender Aggarwal, a Dentist by profession, who lost his central vision due to a genetic disorder called macular degeneration.
The journey began with a batch of 8 blind students in Delhi and has now grown significantly. Present across 30+ Centres in India, the organization has expanded its reach and impact over the years. Through 30+ Skill Building Centers across the country, more than 100,000+ persons with disabilities have been empowered. In addition, 7,000+ children with disabilities have been rehabilitated through its Early Intervention and Inclusive Education initiatives. The organization also operates 3 digital platforms with the support of 1,000+ NGO Partners and 5,000+ Corporate Partners.
